If you’re trying to squeeze in some local activities…
One of the best ways to kick-back, relax and enjoy your visit while in Chicago is with a tour down the river, learning about the history and architecture of the buildings. If the weather permits, there is no better way to be introduced to the city! Alternatively, you can simply walk along the river and take in the glory of the skyscrapers along its edge — this allows for many excellent photo opportunities!
A trip to Chicago wouldn’t be complete without a photo of your reflection in ‘the bean.’ Head on over to Millennium park to pose with friends with a warped Chicago skyline in the background. Some of the best photos include the skyline at night, but any time of day will give you great shots!
Not only is Green Mill Tavern, one of Chicago’s oldest bars, a prime spot for live jazz musicians every night of the week, it was one of the hang out and movie location spot for Capone. Prepare to travel back in time as you set foot in this uptown joint.
